Born and raised in Cote d’Ivoire, Afi is an Abidjan-based hospitality professional with experience within the marketing and event planning industry. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Master in Global Hospitality Management, a bachelor in marketing and a certificate in Event Planning.
This digital creative is devoted to learning and growing, and always seeks opportunities to develop new skills and pursue her passions. In 2006 she became Miss Mathematics Cote d’Ivoire and one year later, her enthusiasm for computers, software and technology led her to be the second Prizewinner of the National Days of IT. She also has many certificates within the Hospitality Industry such as the: Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) and the Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP®).
Proud member of the Eta Sigma Delta (ESD) International Hospitality Management Honor Society, her long-term goal is to leverage technology and new trends to help hospitality business grow. Indeed, she grew up in hospitality, from a mother working for an airline company and a father in a catering and hotel industry; she quickly got caught by the hospitality bug. As of today she continues to develop the necessary skill set to continue this legacy.
Afi is a passionate photographer, a passion she discovered in high school. She bought her first camera in 2007 and spent her days learning new photography and editing techniques online. Over time she started to develop a real craft for creating aesthetically pleasing artwork and decided to be the brain behind a creative work.She is currently working as a Brand Consultant, Marketing Manager and Event planner.
